Re: [PDI] [ILProgressivesUnited] Gaza: Enough is enough

I see it just the opposite, but in general agree. I think Israel timed it to be pretty much over before he takes office, so he would not have to comment. I think they did it as a "favor" to Obama - but that is surely the wrong word.

It was probably all planned by his people, their people, the CIA people, the AIPAC people, the Drug Lord people, and any other people who really count.

They send their kids off to die for somebody's business deal and they celebrate it like they're doing something heroic! This great and glorious people! Lazy sacks of junk food and jingo!"

I feel this was Israel testing Obama; you know, how the "terrorists"
were probably going to test him during this interim period and the early days of
his administration.

?

We see who got there first, and we see his non-reaction.? It is what I would
have predicted.? So much for change we can believe in.

I don't think anybody here doubts that a Congress full of Greens would
vote better than the current one.

The real question, at least for me, is whether Greens have a workable
strategy for getting elected. We can spend all day talking about what
it would be like if Greens got elected, but unless there's a viable
way of bringing that outcome about, what's the point?
