If politicians have failed to listen to their constituents, if they
instead upend the Constitution, promoting the agenda of their corporate
donors, rather than the welfare of Americans, voters have the right to
take corrective actions by voting those politicians out of office.

But what if those corrective actions, our vote, can be hacked or
compromised?
What then? How do we combat the erosion of our democracy?

First, we educate others about the problem.
Then we take action...and we don't give up the fight.

"Yes, it's remarkable how many high-tech security products, really don't
have much security," Roger Johnston said.

He's found that most voting machines have almost _no security to reveal
tampering. _Thus, he said, it's a fairly simple matter to tinker with
the electronics while machines are in storage or being transported by
the truckload.

He has even demonstrated how he can turn cheating mechanisms in voting
machines /_on and off by remote control._/

"It's much easier to steal the election, right at the electronic voting
machine," said Johnston. "In many cases, we see security devices or
electronic voting machines where we really have to wonder, 'Did anybody
spend 60 seconds figuring out the security issues?"
