Re: [PDI] Two Protesters Lock Themselves To Railings In Wisconson's (Red) Senate

Hi all,

May I add that we can protest all we want but only bad things will come
of it until and unless we understand money creation. The so-called
conservatives REALLY believe they are saving the middle class by
privatizing the state and installing "austerity programs" that somehow
always target the middle class and poor. And as we have so painfully
been witnessing, the so-called liberals aren't any better.

Bottom line --Everyone is in panic mode and wants to fix what can't be
fixed, without systemic change to our monetary system.

I suggest you read Dennis Kucinich's HR6550 NOW before its too late:
http://www.monetary.org/hr6550bill.pdf As a short cut to understanding,
I have listed below some of the many benefits of HR6550:

****Restores the power to create money without debt solely to the
Treasury thereby retiring the entire national debt (U. S. Treasury
securities) within 20 to 30 years, which means federal taxation levels
will decline substantially. Retirement of the national debt will reduce
federal government expenditures by hundreds of billions of dollars
yearly in annual interest expense. (In 2010, the interest paid on the
national debt by the taxpayers was $413,954,825,362.17 or 414 billion
dollars.)

*** Interest-free loans to state and local jurisdictions will _reduce
their bonded funding costs by about two thirds._Let's take a quick look
at Illinois to get some idea of why interest-free loans would be such a
boon to taxpayers. As of the end of August 2010, Illinois had borrowed
$9.6 billion in the prior 12 months alone -- and a lot of that is for
the purpose of paying its share of pension contributions which it has
been failing to do for years already. So the state is floating bonds or
you might say borrowing from the plutocracy in order to meet its pension
obligation among other obligations. That $9.6 billion translates into as
much as $551.3 million extra that will have to be shelled out for the
state's borrowing over the last year alone. In addition, "more than half
of Illinois's additional borrowing costs, amounting to approximately
$301.2 million, will come due in the next five years." To the cost of
interest charges must be added the cost of insurance. So "the cost of
insuring five-year Illinois bonds to protect $10 million of debt against
default in June 2010 rose to $370,000, a record, from a low of $155,000
in January, 2010. The price fell back to $281,000 at the end of July
2010." But tax savings aren't the only advantage to interest-free loans
because money is power, and by giving states and other local
governmental entities the option to secure interest free loans (debt
free money), the money power is placed in the hands of local communities.

Not to be overlooked - and among the many other benefits of HR6550:

****The provision of an initial monetary dividend or tax-free grant to
all United States citizens residing in the United States. Hardly just a
"give-away" ala the bank bailout, the purpose of this monetary dividend
is to provide liquidity to the banking system during the transition
period from the time the Act is signed into law up to the time when debt
free money for infrastructure expenditures will have had a chance to
work into circulation.

Although the amount of such a dividend would be determined by the fiscal
situation at the time of enactment, we could present a possible scenario
under this provision which would essentially make it possible to send
every United States citizen a tax-free check of say - $5000. That's
$10,000 for a family of two, and $20,000 for a family of four, and so
forth. [The tab for this "People's bailout" would be about $1 ½ trillion
with NO borrowing costs or added debt - as opposed to the $4.6 trillion
already used to bailout Wall Street -- for which We the People got
nothing in return except more debt.]

This is REAL folks and thanks to the amazing courage and willingness to
delve deep into widely misunderstood topics, Kucinich is providing us
with a chance to save not just America and the working class but the
entire planet. This is not an overstatement.

The pressures are mounting at all levels. These right-wing politicians and their corporate puppet masters who are causing the difficulties are too stupid to understand the forces they maybe unleashing. The DLC Dems are equally as stupid and I'm counting Obama among them. Karl
